Who We Are:

Marcos Baer, Publisher, NYC Office
Prior to launching Portada in 2003, Marcos worked in different media properties (The Wall Street Journal, The Economist Intelligence Unit and Spain's Cinco Dias) and in Finance (Asset manager at Swiss Re). Marcos, who was born in Argentina and grew up in Spain, is a MBA and a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and has a passion for the Hispanic market as well as for print and digital media.

Alex Andrews, Editor, NYC Office
Before joining Portada in 2004, Alex worked at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. In 2004-2005, he lived in Buenos Aires, reporting for Portada and assembling the magazine's South American unit. He has traveled extensively throughout Latin America. He currently works in the Manhattan office, where he manages the production of Portada's editorial content.

Annette Fielman, Sales, Marketing Director: NYC Office
Before coming to work for Portada in March of 2006, Annette was instrumental in the launch and marketing of a B2B publication focusing on the mobile and consumer electronics industry. In addition, she has worked closely with clients to develop, implement and market innovative promotions.
